Exfoliating and preparing your skin ensures that the skin is soft with a smooth texture allowing for an even and longer lasting tan. Remove existing self tan build up with Tan Detox, a minimum of 12 hours prior to new self tan application.
It’s important to work quickly and use large strokes when applying self tan and make sure that all areas are covered. Don't worry if the top level guide colour appears slightly streaky - just as long as all areas are covered it will tan evenly. Our Applicator Mitt makes applying Bronzing Mousse and Bronzing Spray easy, and avoids stained palms too.
Moisturising your skin everyday and then exfoliating the skin after 2-3 days will help the tan fade evenly and prepare your skin for its next treatment.
For an extra colour boost for your evening out, top up with Wash Off Instant Glow Body Lotion and Face Lotion prior to getting dressed. To highlight and define contours, apply Bronzing Powder or Bronzing Rocks with a brush.
1. To get the perfect party glow ready for a night out, always body polish your skin well prior to tanning. This will ensure the tan is as smooth and long lasting as possible.
2. Moisturise any dry areas (elbows, knees, hands and feet) before following the next steps. These areas like to go a few shades darker so the moisturiser will improve full body evenness.
